Andrea R. Ciobanu is a Romanian filmmaker based in London. Her work often blends horror, mythology, and fashion to create dark, visually rich stories. She’s especially drawn to narratives that explore folklore, memory, and the surreal.

A graduate of the National Film & Television School and a member of Directors UK, Andrea recently completed a Master’s in Screenwriting at the London Film School. Her films are known for their strong imagery, use of colour, and the central role music plays in shaping emotion and atmosphere.

Alongside her directing and writing projects, Andrea works as a Costume Designer on short films and brand campaigns, bringing a fashion-conscious perspective to the worlds she helps build.
